GoTo.com Emails
GoTo.com is sending out email notices to anyone with an email address and a web site that their directory listing will expire. Below is an example misleading email. Please just ignore the emails. It is a deceptive way to get you to sign up for their useless service that will only attract more spam. If you ever have a question of a mysterious email please never hesitate to forward it to us or call us. Below is a sample email:
Subject: Urgent: Please update your YourWebSite.com listing by [some date]. There is no charge. (Adv) From: The Editor [editor@www-goto.com] Message Body: A 1-2 sentence description of your web site Could you please update your YourWebSite.com directory listing by Tuesday so we can continue to list you, if you don't mind? There is no charge to update your listing. Simply go to: http://www-goto.com/update.cfm?d=rtrjumpers.com&e=i Thanks. |
